FAQs for Artists
When and where to arrive first?
Accreditation opens November 19th at 1pm at LENDHAFEN Graz – Festival center. Here you get all infos for everything concerning EUROS 26.
Meetings & Keynotes will be held here too.
Lunch catering, WiFi, free non-alcoholic beverages, coffee and tea are available for accredited guests.
Where is the FESTIVAL CENTER?
LENDHAFEN Graz is located in the heart of the city.
Meetings & Keynotes also will be held at LENDHAFEN.

The festival center will be open from 10am to 7pm every day.
Where is the opening gala?
November 19th, 7.30 pm @ ORPHEUM EXTRA

Where is the championship location NEXT LIBERTY?
November 20th, 5.30pm & 8pm
November 21st, 8pm
NEXT LIBERTY is located in the old town of Graz.
Artists entrance address: Girardigasse 1, 8010 Graz
Audience entrance address: Kaiser-Josef-Platz 10, 8010 Graz
When do artists have to arrive at Next Liberty before their semifinal?
Please be at the location 60 minutes before the show.
The starting order will be drawn 30 minutes before the show.
What is the timelimit for each performance?
The timelimit is four minutes.
Do I need a ticket for public transport?
Not between Festival center and location. Public transport via tram is free in the old town.
Your tickets for shows on Friday and Saturday are valid for all public transport 3 hours prior and 7 hours after the beginning of the event.
How to travel to Graz best?
As a certified Green Event, we appreciate it if you try to minimize your CO2-emissions when traveling. If flying is unavoidable and no direct flight to Graz in sight, we’d like to point out that the train connection between Vienna Airport and Graz is often cheaper, scenic, and quick. Book your saver fares early at tickets.oebb.at
Where to park my car?
Do not come by car. Graz works best with public transport, bicycle and on foot.
Which shows to attend?
November 19th – Opening Gala at 7.30pm at Orpheum Extra
Small Showcase of Regional, Austrian, European & Vice-World Champions
November 20th – Semifinal 1 at 5.30pm and Semifinal 2 at 8pm at Next Liberty
The championship begins. Let’s see who advances to the big final on Saturday.
November 21st – Final at 8pm
Who is going to be our next champion?
What about AFTERSHOWs?
You will get all the addresses and times at the accreditation. A midnight snack will always be served at the Aftershow Locations.
November 19th – Welcome Night. Speak Easy Location
No loud music, but a lot of time to chat, connect and get to know each other.
November 20th – Karaoke & Dance
The tension has subsided. Let’s sing and dance!
November 21st – Aftershow – Time to celebrate

Europäische Meisterschaft
im Poetry Slam
Von 19. bis 21. November 2026 findet in Graz die Europameisterschaft im Poetry Slam statt. Eine Premiere für Österreich.
Gemeinsam mit dem Next Liberty und dem Verein Poetry Slam’md bringen wir 30 Meister*innen aus Europa in Graz auf die Bühne und holen 30 europäische Veranstalter*innen von Poetry Slams in die Stadt. Wie beim Poetry Slam üblich, entscheidet das Publikum über den Sieg. Wer das nicht verpassen möchte, sichert sich Tickets auf www.ticketzentrum.at!
Professionelle Kulturarbeit x nachhaltiges Eventmanagement
Die Europameisterschaft im Poetry Slam 2026 ist ein GreenEvent nach Umweltzeichen UZ62. Müllvermeisung und ressourcenschonendes Veranstalten im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit sind dem Slam Kollektiv seit Bestehen ein großes Anliegen. Auf Plastik und Ausdrucke wird weitgehend verzichtet.
Wir empfehlen eine Anreise zum Festival und den einzelen Veranstlungenmit dem öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder Fahrrad. Vom Hauptbahnhof Graz erreichst du unsere Locations schnell und einfach mit dem Fahrrad, ausreichend Fahrradabstellplätze sind überall vorhanden. Mit den Straßenbahnen erreichst du die Locations wie folgt:
Eröffnungsshow: Orpheum Extra, Orpheumgasse 8, 8020 Graz (Haltestelle Südtirolerplatz oder Roseggerhaus)
Wettbewerb: Next Liberty, Kaiser-Josef-Platz 10, 8010 Graz (Haltestelle Kaiser-Josef-Platz/Oper)
